It might be lame to admit, but we all know no matter which event you’re attending, dressing the part totally makes it more fun. Whether it’s a Halloween party or a day at an outdoor music fest, it’s sometimes just obligatory to bring out, say, your best Cher Horowitz costume, or the most Kate Moss-inspired boho vest and cut-offs ensemble you can find. And, the same goes for vacations.

It’s not every year we get to jet off across the pond, so you know what? If we want to channel Audrey Hepburn walking along the Seine, then we will! Or if we want to ride around on a Vespa, creating our own rendition of Roman Holiday, so be it! One thing’s for sure: We’re bound to look darn good doing it.

We have a feeling you probably share our need to dress for the scene as well, so we’re highlighting eleven classic and trendy pieces to ensure you fit in with the city’s style stars, not looking like one of those typical fanny pack, sock-and-sneaker, visor-wearing tourists. From a classic trench to the perfect floral number, here’s your checklist for a picture-perfect European getaway.
