When planning a wedding, it’s all too easy to feel like every single decision, big or small, ridiculously important or completely minuscule, has the power to make or break your special day. From finding the perfect dress you’re guaranteed not to second-guess later (good luck!), to choosing the right food for midnight munchies (funnel cake bar or nacho bar? C’mon people, help a sister out) wedding planning is no easy feat. And so, we’re here to make one of your biggest decisions as fail-proof as possible. That, of course, would be your colour scheme.

We’ve taken inspiration from TTHBlooms—style-setter, Taylor Tomasi Hill’s spectacular flower arrangements—to create our very own guide for choosing the most elegant and charming colours that will set the scene for the big day. From classic white-on-white, to bold punches of yellow (in the chicest way possible, naturally) here are 10 standout inspirations for your wedding colour scheme.

All Whites

For a colour scheme that takes the (wedding) cake for being the most elegant, go for a variety of whites from eggshell to ivory. We suggest accenting tables with a metallic hue, such as mercury vases, and having bridesmaids wear cream dresses.

Peachy Keen

Go sweet and fresh with the perfect mix of shades of peach from dark to white. Have bridesmaids in two shades of peach and accent the table with nameplates with peach detailing.

Having a hot summer wedding? Go for juicy bright hues, with bubblegum pink, lemon yellow, and tangy tangerine. We suggest keeping the pink and lemon colours to solely the arrangements, and having bridesmaids wear a juicy shade of tangerine.
