Two Ways to Get the Runway Look on a Budget

The dream is to have a closet filled with Marant, McQueen and McCartney, but, you know, we gotta pay the rent. So, we have to resort to really good designer look-alikes from our favourite fast-fashion shops.

The fact is, hunting for bang-on knockoffs of “It” tops, bottoms and accessories is quite exhilarating. If we can get a full look for as low as $150 that is seriously comparable to the original, we kinda feel like we have a rare, special gift.

To show you how we do it, we’re taking inspiration from the Louis Vuitton spring 2014 runway and revealing two different ways you can get the look. And we haven’t even gotten to the best part yet: each piece is so versatile, it can be worn all year round, mixed and matched with your after-dark and weekend wardrobes.
