As far as I’m concerned, men have the Super Bowl, and women have the Oscars red carpet. Like our football-enthused counterparts, us pre-academy awards show lovers have our list of MVPs we can’t wait to see (Rosamund, Keira, Eddie), our predictions on how the night will pan out (a show-stopping Elie Saab number, GP in an ah-mazing minimalist dress, Julianne Moore taking the safe, classic route with her gown of choice) and of course, a fabulous party to celebrate with our besties (view my bash here).
And so, naturally, I feel the need to share my top six picks for best dressed at the Oscars. Here they are, in no particular order – for that would be far too difficult:
Emma Stone in Elie Saab
Keira Knightley in Valentino
Rosamud Pike in Givenchy
Felicity Jones in McQueen
Jennifer Lopez in Elie Saab
Gwyneth Paltrow in Ralph and Russo
For Slice, I rounded up twenty looks from the night that either weren’t glam enough for the Oscars, were boring, were in need of a good tailor, or were just not in good taste. Check out the article here.
